Inbound SMS (2way)
The ability to receive inbound messages from mobile phones into our platform, for onward handling including processing pre-set responses to the inbound via trigger messaging.
The ability to sign on to the 2sms online portal SMS+ service using your corporate ID and password.
Address book / group list management
The ability to build address books of contacts and group lists of multiple contacts to speed up the process of selecting multiple recipients for sending messages.
The ability to send a message of up to 5,000 characters including a reply button for response collection.
SMS+ provides the ability to send enhanced content including logos, disclaimers, color and fonts, images and links. The ability to control who reads the message and how it is read, including the option to limit the number of reads and/or the lifespan of the message. Benefit from message encryption and a comprehensive audit trail.
Teamdata allows you to define surveys and deliver them to recipients using SMS+. The receipient fills in a form on their mobile device which is then submitted. The data is collected for you - ready to analyze.
The ability to set up pre-set messages and pair them to keywords. When a consumer or user sends in a SMS to you with the keyword as the first word of the message, its pre-set mesages are automatically triggered and sent back out to the end user.
The ability to send out a sequence of messages to an end user to a predefined schedule. A use case might be that you may wish to set up 30 different messages to go out at 24 hour intervals. Message recipient 1 might get the 30 messages starting on a Monday and repeating daily, and message recipient 2 will get the same sequence of messages, but starting on a Wednesday. On the Wednesday, recipient 1 would get message 3, recipient 2 would get message 1. On Thursday, message recipient 1 would get message 4 and message recipient 2 would get message 2.
Round robin messaging
Useful for customer service teams. Imagine that there are 5 customer service agents in a team. Customers are sending in SMS messages to a single mobile number or short code provided by 2sms. Message 1 is forwarded to Agent 1 for processing. Message 2 goes to Agent 2. Message 6 goes back to Agent 1, message 7 goes to Agent 2.
email to SMS
The ability to send a message to <number>@xysms.com where xyzsms.com is a domain dedicated to you. Sending an email to email@example.com would see the email body converted to an SMS and sent to mobile number 4477712341234, assuming xysms.com is set up on 2sms systems for service.
SMS to port
Most SMS messages are delivered to the screen of the recipient's mobile phone, but this does not have to be the case. If you have a mobile app set up on your phone with a SMS port enabled, then the SMS will be delivered silently to the app and will trigger the app to respond to the event, perhaps by displaying content in the app to the user.

Workflow allows you to trigger a business process, application or web service based on a SMS received. Working with 2sms, we can help you set up your business rules so that your software can respond to SMS messages being sent to you.
Machine to machine
80% of our traffic is now either machine to machine, or app to person. Our customers integrate SMS services into their own IT systems to trigger SMS alerts when their systems detect events that require a response. Vending machines, ATM's, Point of Sale devices or stock control systems are all examples where SMS can be used to alert people.
Adding to our online portal and API's, we also offer mobile apps for Android and iPhone. The apps are free to download and integrate into your account. Leverage address books, group lists and other services. You can mix and match, so sending messages from the app can be viewed on the online portal.

If you use portal software like Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce.com, we add text messaging capabilities that will allow your investment in these portal technologies to trigger SMS messages out to your employees, customers and suppliers.
Reporting services / audit trail
