Board Members
Kevin Jauncey is a senior executive having worked at board level in the Telecoms and IT/ Software market in both PLC and private companies for the last 10 years. He has a proven track record of growing business, good communication and building strong dynamic teams. He is experienced in raising capital in both the private and public sectors, and delivering strategies based on M&A activity. He has a deep understanding of the Global Communication market, and has developed a strong network of IT and Communication professionals and executives.
He is also currently Chairman of PIXELearning Ltd. and on the board of a number of technology companies, ranging from video gaming peripherals to the construction software sector. He also advises companies on strategic development.
Among many roles in International Telecoms, he was responsible for BT's telecom business in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has extensive business experience in the USA. He was also Director of a BT - France Telecom joint venture.
A corporate lawyer by original training, Richard holds degrees from Cambridge University and
INSEAD Business School. Until 2006, he was an executive director of Harding Brothers Limited,
Europe’s leading operator of retail and spa concessions on board luxury cruise ships. He now
manages a wide range of private investment activity across a number of asset classes, including
real estate (both within and outside the UK), and public and private equity funds. Richard
invested in 2sms in 2007, alongside The Capital Fund.
Tim founded 2sms in 1996. Tim holds an Economics degree, is a Chartered Management Accountant,
and gained an MBA from the Open University. Tim was VP for Citibank Emerging Markets, responsible
for Financial Management Information systems in 75 countries. Tim served as a Director for
several Barclays Plc subsidiaries in Japan, Jersey and the UK, working in sales and business
development.
Kevin is a chartered accountant who has held a number of senior roles in telecoms and technology
businesses. His experience is based around operational finance as well as deal structuring
where he has led IPOs, equity and debt restructuring and Mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
His experience has been gained in multinationals such as Cable and Wireless to smaller companies
such as Formjet plc. Kevin is currently a Non Executive director of Breezetech (UK) Ltd.
